Lavthaleshwar temple is a famous Shiva temple. It is located between Jejuri and Saswad. It is just on the left side of the road if you are coming back from Jejuri to Pune. It is a simple temple. Nothing to see much. It is famous because Lord Shiva‘s famous prayer “Lavthavati Vikrala Brahmandi Mala” was written by Saint Ramdas Swami in this temple.

There is an idol of Naga (Cobra) in front of the temple. Also, there is one more idol of an unknown deity.

Inside the temple, there is a Shiva lingam and Nandi. There is one Lord Ganesh idol also.

It takes less than 10 minutes to see the temple.

If you go to Jejuri, you should visit this temple.
